  Pena Adobe Dental Care is a rare and exceptional dentist office. Recently, I went in for a new patient consultation, x-rays, and dental cleaning. I was apprehensive since quality dental care matters greatly to me, but every dental office has a different interpretation of what quality looks like. This office was exceedingly professional and personable. Aubri booked my appointment and got me in at the last minute after a cancellation which was awesome since they appear to book out pretty far in advance! She helped me understand my insurance benefits before I booked the appointment and was upfront about the out-of-pocket cost. Nikki was my hygienist and I really appreciated her friendly, thoughtful approach since I was worried about my gum recession and embarrassed because I felt like I should’ve been able to prevent the gum recession on my own somehow. Dr. Takher was thorough, sincere, and great at explaining my jaw clenching issue. He had a treatment/mouth guard recommendation but encouraged me to think it over since it’s an investment. His sense of humor coupled with his expertise makes him an outstanding doctor. This is a loooong review, but I want both Pena Adobe and anyone considering them as a dental office to know that this office is the epitome of thoughtful, intelligent medical care.
